Indications d'application: Immunohistochemistry on cultured cells. Immunochemistry on Frozen Ethanol Fixed Sections. Immunochemistry on Paraffin Sections: a protease pretreatment is recommended. This antibody clone 1-13M1 cross reacts with Mucin of different animal species after period date pretreatment. Immunoblotting: Strongly positive without mercaptoethanol pretreatment of mucin solution. ELISA or IRMA in combination with the clone 9-13M1 or the mixture of anti-M1 Monoclonal antibodies.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Sujet: Mucins are high molecular weight glycoproteins that are found especially in the secretions of mucus membranes. Gastric Mucin 5AC antigen is found in columnar mucus cells of surface gastric epithelium and in goblet cells of the fetal and precancerous colon but not in normal colon.
